bhetrick i might be doing one this week, if i do i will let you know, i wish you were about 2 weeks earlier, i had 2 consoles worth i just threw in the trash. but yea a guy just approached me today and said his warranty was up so he needed the x-clamp fix done. as soon as i hear back from him i will let you know, and i will double check to make sure i dont have any screws laying around.
That'd be great. I picked up a reflow table at an auction. It wasn't working and I got a great deal. I got it working today and set up so it should work on a 360 board.
I've got a couple boards to try out, but I want to test them out afterwards with just the original heatsink hardware. And I've done the same thing as many others after doing x clamp fixes; I've just tossed out the original hardware.
So I'd much rather find someone who would part with their original hardware than to have to go and buy another rrod console.

Hey let me know on how it goes. If you manage to get them reflowing again.I have a Xbox with RROD that won't come back to life I,ve tried heat guns xclamp and so on a few times onit.I ended up selling the Dvd drive for it but if somehow I can get it back to life I would buy another Drive.This is the only xbox Ive had this amount of problems with.
