Eurovox PVR ex5000 record 1 channel/watch another?

I have just bid on ebay for a Eurovox PVR ex5000 with 120gb HDD. i just want to know if i can watch a certain channel & watch another at the same time as doing so?

ie. watch channel 3 and tape sky sports 1 (i pay for my service =P)

thanks guys the information will be appreciated, as i know there is a normal box that you can only record what you are watching & a dual tuner one, i want the dual tuner one, thanks.

The eurovox pvr is a single tuner but you can record one channel and watch another if that other channel is on the same transponder as the one your are recording, limited in comparison to a dual tuner but much cheaper.

No you cant alter transponders to suit what you want to record/watch, only thing you can do is buy a box with a twin tuner.
