Another MTKFLASH problem

So this is my first time trying to flash my xbox 360. I've read countless forum posts and guides and I still can't get this to work. I know I've made some progress since I fixed the no drive detected problem. But right now I'm trying to create the backup for my samsung drive (ms25), and when I get to the selection for what drive, none of them ever get to my xbox drive, it just freezes at the port: 1f0 Master/slave: a0. or some other numbers. There are three options when it finds the drives. I noticed though that when I choose choice number 2, the power light, not the ring, but the center light of the 360 begins to flash. Every time I choose #2, it flashes and then I noticed that when you choose number 2, the drive won't eject, but before you choose, it will. I learned that choice #1 was my cd drive, and when I choose that, my cd drive won't eject. So I think MTKFLASH is turning off the ms25 drive every time it tries to connect to it. Anybody have any suggestions to help me?
