I´ve been looking for a while now.

I checked an image file with mulleter, and all stealth boxes were checked, but mulleter didn´t found the game in database. I´ve been making backups for a while now but that never happened. Now I´ve read that if all stealthed boxes are checked I´m fine, but I needed confirmation.

I´m planning to download Schtrom, check with both, and call it a day.

Is it safe, against banning, to burn/play a game that passed Schrom and Mulleter stealth checked, but wasn´t found on mulleter database? (I know nothing is 100% safe, but at least as safe as possible)

It's pretty much a hit and miss if its not in the database to be safe online. Not found in the database means that no one has updated the stealth files for that game from a retail copy. So its possible that even though all boxes are checked you could have the wrong stealth files in the game. I suggest to wait a week or so after the official release date of a game and its usually in the database by then. If not, you can always still play the game offline. I personally only go online with games that say they checked out perfectly with DVD Mulleter.

rookie question but how do you check if it's in the mulleter database?

Thanks, I guess I´ll wait then.

To check if its in database, check it with mulleter and use the autofix option. If it´s not in the database, it will tell.

And btw, anyone knows how to tell for sure a review image from a retail one? I heard reviews raise flags, for obvious reasons... Does mulleter fix that? Any info on this particular subject would be highly appreciated.

That's a good question, I don't really know. I don't know how many people on here would know because I don't think anyone reviews them for a living, unless somehow was able to get a copy of one.

The games I´m having problems with are Dead Space, Fable II, and Far Cry 2. The weird thing is I had never seen that message before... could someone please tell me if you have checked with mulleter any of these games and if they were in the database?

I think is so weird since Dead Space has been released weeks ago...

I just checked Dead Space and Far Cry 2 last night with Mulleter and got the same not in the database message for both games....and was thinking also it was weird since Dead Space was released earlier this month. You can also check on the 360patches.com site to find out the status of retail stealth files. They have a stealth file request forum and the moderator ususally responds with the submission status of a particular game to the Mulleter database.
