I think this site is the best out there and i hope someone can help explain some logic to me.

After i decompress a RAR File i receive a "DVD File" can anyone explain to me what exactly a DVD file is, how it works, how its compressed, how to create one, etc. This is very important to me and i would greatly appreciate some help on this topic.

A .dvd file tells the image burning program what layer-break to use on a DVD DL disc. That's pretty much it.

You can create a .dvd file with Mulleter. After you have the .dvd file you just burn it with ImgBurn at 2.4X speed. Make sure the .iso is next to it though.

you can also create one in notepad. Look on the forum, there are a couple different threads which talk about the contents of the .dvd file. And they also tell you how you can make one for your own game.

i really appreciate your help. can i ask you if you know of any software that can compress iso files even smaller than their current sizes, an example would be:

an xbox 360 game with an iso file say size 7.3 gigs. Is there any way to condense that file even smaller?
