Dashboard update reason not to mod?

I was thinking of modding my xbox 360 but recently I heard of the November 19 dashboard update and it being a potential ban hammer. Is this a big enough reason not to mod one? If I mod one and I don't connect to live till after the update would that have any effect or should I just wait entirely till after the update?

yes that is one of my concern too. i think the november 19 update might have some software update that will ban your xbox 360. be careful. every update always has a chance of getting ur xbox 360 banned.

So help me god if I see one more thread about the November update and Banning. People we know just as much as you do. So if you got a question pertaining to chances of being banned just look into a mirror and ask urself it. I promiss you that ur answer will be good enough if not better than ours................

I Look at it like this,Why wouldn't They Ban us, makes sence seems how it's X-Mas Time.And they are running some sweet deals.And hopefully if they ban us it will drive away some people from modding,Like the ones afraid of being Banned.

well they might not because some things might not be detected, or they might be waiting for another time. Just like why didn't they ban us for every single dashboard update that has ever been done

I currently have 10 plus modded consoles. Hypothetically... If I were to get banned it wouldn't drive me away from modding. It would drive right to Circuit City or Best Buy to buy a PS3 and a Wii and leave the M$ crap behind.
