I had a modded xbox 360 for about 3 weeks now and been using verbatim 2.4x dl for all my backups, recently my copy of saints row (backup) has been loading too low making loud noise in the drive
is my laser being damaged here?
is the game scratched or something I dont know. Fallout 3 works perfectly and makes little to no noise
please ask any question you may need to help thanks
Update
the saints row 2 disk has some s scratches on it, how can this be?
I handle my disks with care and no other has scratches I been playing saints row alot though, could my drive of caused this problem?
will playing that game hurt my laser, I have a hitachi 49 drive btw

My xbox is the loudest thing on earth and it makes disk scratching noises as well but its just the xbox. I have had it for aboutt 2 years i think. It doesnt scratch my cds or n e thing. Now granted I cant speak for ur xbox but Im just saying mine does the same and its fine.

So is it only that game, or are other games of yours doing that?

Dont know if this helps but saints row supposedly has issues. A Lot of people seem to be saying its freezing. Ive had it happen to me twice, im just glad that its not my box. Seems to freeze anywhere in the region of 5-15 minutes of playing.
i then put in star wars in straight after to check it wasn't the box and played it for an hour or 2 without any probs.
Not sure why your disks are getting scratched though, never a good sign :( .. i don't think you should play saints row.. or maybe you should get another copy ... because it cant be doing any good to the laser.
hope this helps

eh... if it is scratched up, it might strain the laser... that might be the onyl real concern/possible damage it could do.
