What are the changes caused by updating to 3.3U

I have been trying to find some information about the negative effects of updating to 3.3U. Im at 3.1U now and have already installed the homebrew channel via dvd iso since I have a wiikey installed I dont have a copy of Zelda. What I would like to know is this, if i upgrade to 3.3U will I lose the vc games I had installed using the homebrew channel, will i lose the homebrew channel i installed and will i still be able to play all my backups both GC and Wii in any region. I play a lot of anime based games so I have a few Japanese wii and GC games. I try to stay away from pal games cause of the bricking problems very one complains about. I think I have read somewhere were I need to upgrade to 3.3U to play megaman 9. I really like the series so I was wondering if upgrading my system is worth this game or should I stay at 3.1U

You haven't been trying very hard apparently. 3.3 blocks truncha-signed game disks, but they can still be launched through geckoOS in the homebrew channel. That's basically all it does.

This has all been covered dozens of times before, and has an official thread.

Thanks for the info, i got some of my answers but i will search some more before a ask any further questions. O great now they released 3.4u I wonder what the down side to this one now
