Hi. I just got wii music and my wii says where the game channel is i need to do a system update. How do i go about doing this without bricking my wii. i have wiikey v. 1.9s so im updated, everythign else plays. i figure this doesnt work since its a new game.

Wii music most likely contains the 3.3 update, so thats what you're seeing.

Should I click the update, or is there some wiikey update I need to play this? I thought you can't update the wii firmware because the wii can be bricked.

Bricking only occurs if you're playing an out of region game. If it is out of region then rip it and patch it with brickblocker, if its from you wii's home region then you're good to go.

I was unsure what region my game was from so I just went to setting and ran update there.. Then the game played fine. I think that is the best thing to do if you are unsure

I still play my wii, just not as much. Gave my PSP to my son.

thing is this game requires the 3.3 update to work. And I don't want to update my 3.2u to 3.3u since i have a few trumasig back ups. I tried wiibrickblocker to block the update but then the game won't run -_- should i just update to 3.3u? I don't really want to go through all the trouble of installing homebrew to load my games -_-
