hi all. for ages i have been looking for info on the flashing green power light problem i had with my 360 and could not get anything, so i had a fiddle with the 360 and found that it was the dvd sata cable in the 360. my pc would find the drive with the sata cable but when i put it back in the 360 it would still flash green. so for anyone who has this problem try putting in a new sata cable, but be very carefull cos it seems the 360 is very picky over the condition of the sata cable, im guessing this is a data transfer problem but im not that well knowladged to say for sure.
Hope this helps anyone out there.

Just use an original replacement and problem solved $9.99 new from llamma, it doesn't get any better than that.
