can't get certain disc to work

the only disc that work on my 360 are hp i've tried every disc out there.the games i've burnt so far work on my cousins 360 but not mine.so i know it was burnt right. any suggestions.
and yes i've thought about selling my 360 on ebay and buying a newer one.

what type of drive do you have and do you have ixtreme or or xtreme firmware? ixtreme firmware will not play discs that do not have a split vid section.

my cousins the one the done this for me. i know nothing about it.
i do have ixtreme firmware with a hitachi drive.had rings of death
sent it off and when i got it back they had put a this drive in it.
also it was from 2005 figured it would've been a new.oh well.
what is the split vid section and where do i get it from

So your 360 will only read HP discs? And those only work on your cousins but not yours?

hp disc are the only disc that will play on mine and the games have to be stealth patched.i've tried playing the verbatims and memorex
but they don't work.

my cousins 360 will play all the disc

ebay. but you have to extract your original cd key and put it on the new drive. Your cousin might still have your key....

in response to your pm..... a split vid is something that you can have xbox360 backup creator do for you. I think it helps out further with the "stealthing" of the iso. Also, if you are running iextreme I believe it emulates the split vid section therefore you MAY not have to add it your iso.... try this for me if you can spare one more dual layer.. try ripping an original game, any original game with xbox360 backup creator( YOU NEED A KREON DVD ROM FOR THIS). Check off "read entire" or whatever the top button is. Save the iso to a new folder (don't worry it will also create a .dvd file for you). Anyway open the newly ripped iso with mulleter and stealth check it. if it all passes then burn it with imageburn. Try that disc in your console and see if it works. Do you have a samsung?
