say i upgarade to the latest firmware but want to go back to 3.2, do i open super smash bros in trucha signer, extract all ios and try to install them? (all cus i want to be able to use patchmii programs)

When did you update the Wii console?

If you updated to the very latest firmware as of yeasterday then the downgrade will not work as far as I understand. The new update will not let you install cIOS which you need to do to downgrade the Wii firmware.

If you already have the cISO installed then there is a possibility you can.

I don't know who your post is replied to but if it is to me then...

The newest update that was released yesterday blocks the instillation of cIOS which is needed to downgrade the Wii system.

If you have the cIOS installed prior to the new update then as I understand you can still use homebrew that runs via the cIOS.

Nono, it wasn't directed to you, I just didnt understand what the original poster was saying about trying to extract isos and install them.

You're right though, I wasnt thinking about the newest upgrade. The guide I linked to will work for the first 3.3 firmware, but if you have the new one released yesterday then the downgrader probably won't work and you'll have to wait for a new downgrader version to be released.

that doesn't answer my question - i just want to know if I can install authentic, 3.2 ios that doesn't block installation of anything fakesigned taken from ssbb using trucha signer. i mean no cios. (i don't really have 3.3v2 but i want to install the backup loader on a friends wii)
