Hi guys

I have an Acer Aspire 5043 laptop...When I bought it a while back I'm sure I read in the description that it had a dual layer DVD burner

I'm looking at backing up some games that I own...How can I find out if its possible with my burner?

Also, are all 360 games dual layer? and what's the best type of discs to buy?

go into your system config to find out about your drive. you should be able to get a model type and then google it. see if it does bitsetting as well.

all 360 games are dual layer.

verbatim disc (people swear by the singapore ones but i don't know how to tell where they were made.)

Had a look in device manager, I have a MATSHITA UJ-845D lol :D

How can I check for bitsetting and dual layer?

Use software called DVD Info Pro it will tell you everything you need

Google it or just google your drive
