EDIT:So I got frustrated and just left my room and went out to eat cuz I was about to throw my xbox at the wall.
I came back and thought what the heck one more try to flash the thing.
Did exactly the steps what I was doing in the first and for some reason IT WORKED, My drive finally was flashed.
I dont know why it worked this time but my headache it gone.
Mods please close this thread

I need help....
I have the Hitachi v0078FK Drive
I bought this card:VIA VT6421A Serial ATA RAID PCI Controller Card
Installed the latest drivers from:http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=1&CatID=1180&SubCatID=117

So I can get the drive into mode b using the slax 2.1 disc and when I reboot into windows, I open and close the drive when the windows loading bar appears just like all the tutorials say but my computer reboots and never goes past the loading bar. Please help me ASAP!

EDIT:
Found this on the site, does this mean me?

For XBOX 360 users, this card is the VT6421A (6421A) chipset. The only difference between the VT6421A and VT6421L is that the VT6421A requires MTKFlash (flash) to hexedit the port I/O's. If you use Xtreme Boot Maker, XBM will do this for you automatically.

In the textbook it says not to do this with 78f Drives, I have to use slax.
Am I wrong or is there a new version to do the two pin trick?

Allright, I tried my friends pc and I did the exact same thing I did before, and now windows detects it, It must have been my crappy pc that wasnt working before.

I dumped my original firmware and key with maximus toolbox
But when I started to flash the drive with the hacked firmware my pc got all laggy, a error came out and froze. I didnt touch it for a while but then finally turned it off because it wasnt responding.

Tried the same process a 2nd time, and now I cant dump the original firmware at all. it always get stuck a fourth of the way through and gives me an error.

Does that mean my Drive has a bad flash on it since it froze on me the first time?

After that second retry I connected the drive back up to the xbox and it reads games and dvd's fine, so i dont think theres a bad flash on it.

Why does it keep freezing on me half way through a flash?!
