Hi, first sorry to post this question if someone has already answered but did not find it on search.
I have a japanese Wii, but it is on 3.3j firmware. I was planning to put a modchip, but with this update a modchip will work well? at least to run backups? And there will be some way for me to downgrade the wii to run homebrews on it?
So, I was planning to put the D2Pro with the wii-clip, looks like this one is the best.
About the downgrade, it only runs with homebrew channel or TP, but don't have any of them avaliable on Wii, and as I read (not sure if I understood well), in this 3.3j I will not be able to install them. So there is another way to downgrade? Thanks again
Unless you updated the wii in the last few days you can still install homebrew channel via the twilight hack and downgrade the wii.
If you did just upgrade it with the new update that came out several days ago now then you're stuck for the time being until someone develops a workaround.

yes, i did the October 23th update, so I will wait... but modchip will work, right?
