i wanted to know if like i got a preowned 360 from game or gamestation that there is hope that they might have an older drive like a benq drive... because i dont want to go through all the lite on drive and swapping and key extraction and all that..... does anyone know about preowned from shops??

you should be able to. just ask them if you could see what drive it is as you wanted to make sure it would actually run since its pre-owned. most places shouldnt have a problem with this.

how do they check to see what drive it is?? would they open it up or is there a way? all i know is when it was built and what shop.. like looking it up on 360drives website

just print off the pictures of the various 360 drives once they are ejected, and take that with you and have them eject each drive for you to compare against the pictures.
