Just bought a intercooler EX fan system for my 360, has anyone got or used one. I know there where problems with the first edition but apparently they are all sorted.

I have had one on my 360 for months now with no problem at all, It actually keeps my 360 alot cooler,I mean I can play gears for 2 hours and pull the disk out and it is not even warm, the bottom of the xbox is just warm to the touch, now the powerbrick does get pretty warm but nothing to worry about.

I'll second that. the Intercooler "360" had some issues. The "EX" model has been sorted out and works fine.

First off sorry for double post but just been talking to some guys on another forum and they reckon the intercooler EX is a piece of s**t, said the intercooler fans spin faster than the stock fans causing drag so not as much air is being moved, What do you reckon? Seems to move plenty on mine!

yeah its cools down the xbox so much and it increases the life span of it to up to another 2 years lol
i would recommend it but the only problem is the noise it makes or have they changed that?

NO ! they have not changed the noise it makes. i bought one off newegg and i'm using it but man oh man. its NOISY.

it definitely keeps the thing cooler, no doubt about it. but if you plan on using one hopefully you have a spot further away you can move the xbox to... cause its LOUD. but i will suffer with the noise cause i don't ever wanna see RROD
