Ok guys here we go. I have an archos AV700E(Pocketdish) and I want to know if there is a way to load files to and from it. I know there is a way to do this with a different archos product (I think it's archos) and I want to know if I can use this in the same way, if so, how. When I plug my psp into my pocketdish it says "This device is not supported".



Is there some thing I can do or download that will let me use my pocketdish as an external HDD for my psp?

Oh, I have a psp phat and i'm running 5.00m33.

k well i doubt it can be done with that device then just like you said i've seen it done with archose and yours is saying the device is not supported so i doubt theres anything you can do it it to make the device supported...

with IRShell you can enable either a nethost or a usbhost

sure that would be useful if it recognized it as a usb device then irshell would have access to it as well as many other possibilities but the problem is getting it to recognize the psp so that it can mount itself to it as external memory like you can with the archos 604 is what i believe the model is and it may work on more devices like that with firmware mods

no the project was dropped by ahman on 3.80/3.90 and is a patch for the 3.90 that bypass's the firmware check so irchell still loads on 5.00 m33-3 but almost nothing works however i still use it to play .pmf videos.

I used my pandora battery to flash my self back down to 3.90m33-3 and I installed irshell but it still says Device not supported. so i upgraded back up to 5.00m33-3. but just b4 my pocketdish ran out of battery life I pluged my ipod in to it and it read the ipod. any way, i'll mess around with it a little bit more and see what i can get to work with it. thanks for the help guys.

maybe find someone who has modified the firmware to work with any usb device i doubt you''ll beable to get it to work unless there is already an official firmware available for the pocketdish that works with psp devices and you would think if it works with an ipod it would support other major devices like the psp
