well im thinking of flashing my 360
but i got a few questions
Chipset: ATI Xpress 200 (RS480)
Southbridge: ATI SB400
i think thats the sata chip i got, not sure. but anyways, i downloaded iprep as i head that it told you if you had a compatible sata card
so i dloaded it and this is what i got
but THEN i switched to "IDE BASED CONTROLLERS"
would that NOT work?
but anyways, this is what i got next
so its not compatible
but when i click down the drag menu, theres many options, there was ANOTHEr one named the same
so i clicked on it just to see
and this is waht i got
what does this mean?????
does that mean that my sata chipset or w/e on my motherboard IS compatible? but ONLY the 2nd port???
someone please help me
also, if i DO have the correct chip sata thing or w/e, should i wait AFTER the nov 19 update or juss do it now?

just try it with that one it should work(no guarantees)
it wont matter if you wait until after if it does screw with the firmware it will do it before or after.
just in case, the preferred sata port is the one closest to the front of the pc (port inside of pc of course) the one on mine is by itself with two more closest to the back of the pc. use the closest to the front.
but i do suggest, if this does not work just going with the recommended via 6421, worked for me. its like 15 bucks.
