Hi everybody. my dvd drive knackered so i bought a new one (ms28) and spoofed it as the original (hitachi 47)

worked for a couple of times and died.

changed laser.

nothing changed.

i have bought a hitachi 47 this time round but im unsure what to do to insert the key etc.

do i have to create firmware first or dump firmware that comes with drive and then insert my key?

i just flashed a hitachi 47 with c 4evas ixtreme firmware,
do i need to follow the same proceedure with my new drive ?
or would i have to do it differently?
inserting key some how.

get the key out of the old bin and insert it into the new bin, then flash all using fw toolbox.
