Hey peeps im complete noob to the homebrew channel scene and need some help.

I installed the channel via the tp hack ive placed two folders on my sd card one called apps the other wads, in the apps folder i have wad installer 2.1 and wad uninstaller, when i bring up the homebrew channel i see both the installer and the uninstaller but when i click on either to install them i get the error message "this is not a valid wii apllication" i have also tried wad manager and i get the same error.

I have a pal wii with 3.3e on it (I have not installed the new shop update)

i am running a wiikey with 1.9s on it and i have 247 blocks approx free on my wii system memory.

I hope you can advise.

Azel.

The folder should be named wad not wads. So rename the wads folder to wad.

If that still doesn't fix the issue then delete all wad installers in the apps folder and download this version HERE. Then extract and place the wadmanager folder into the apps folder. Now try running it again.

Did you download the aplication I use?

Also make sure the SD Card is formated FAT 16 (DEFAULT).

You should have a diectory of...

ROOT://apps/wadmanager/boot.elf

Thats probably the issue. You should get a SD Card. Be safe when installing and uninstalling WAD files to the system.

Yes that is right.

You should be able to use the wadmanger via Twilight Princess hack. That way you only have 1 application to boot and you can install or uninstall in the same boot session.
