3.71 PSP Backup Game Directory Problems

Hi,
I tried following a couple of guides, but I'm complete nab so.. no luck so far!
The PSP has version 3.71 firmware on it, and trying to put my backup .iso on it (youtube tutorial showed how to make the .iso) I find that either nothing shows in the memory stick or it shows corrupt data.

Actually, I wondered something. The memory stick seems to have a certain directory structure when mentioned in tutorials, yet the PSP doesn't seem to check or format the sticks that are put in.. So how do the memory sticks gain any file/folder structure?

ok first you can format the memorystick by going to the system settings second you can't play backup .iso on the official firmware 3.71 you have to make or buy a pandora battery and magic memory stick, check youtube on how to do that.
