ok, so i have been reading the forums trying to make sure i do everythign correctly. i am using the psp slim and the batter tool converter. i also used psp grader v006 to make the mms. so i have the memory stick in the psp and i have the converted battery, i pop it in the psp and the light goes green as it should, but nothing comes on the screen. i thought that the installation options should pop up, but nothing happens, i tried both holding l trigger and not, same issue. anyone know what is goign on? i am guessing there is somethign wrong with the mms, but don't knwo what, the grader said it worked fine.

try useing Pandora Deluxe 2.5 to make the mms and also check /TM/config.txt on which button is set for holding during boot it is suppose to be L Trigger but not harm in checking to be sure.

thanks, it actually was triangle, but that still didn't work. i am starting up the pandora deluxe, but the splashscreen says "in order to create the pandora battery, you need official 1.50 or a custom firmware installed. i thought the point of this is to be able to install cfw. i believe i am running ofw 3.5

you have the battery tool converter, this is usually a battery bought online with the word TOOL on it also named the Pandora battery and other people make there own by cutting a metal tab inside the battery and then there are ways of making it from the psp itself depending on your psps motherboard so thats all that message is trying to say now since you have the pandora battery and are making the magic memory stick you should be set though you will probably need this atleast 5.00 US Firmware

i got message "error injecting ipl" when creating mms.
i went ahead with the rest of the process anyway, and it completed and i still get the same thing, just an empyt black screen on the psp. is there a spceial process for having it read from the memory card slot? i have tried with it already in when i put in the battery and i have tried putting the battery in first, then card. nothign happens. the ocnfig file showed "nothing" so i am assuming there is no button i need to push. also, thank you so much for helping me, i would be lost otherwise.

i assume you downloaded the eboot.pbp for the firmware and added it to pandora deluxe 2.5 and then to the right of it is where you select what button to press to load it the config.txt should not have "nothing" else it will just do a regular boot to whatever is on your flash and try checking all 3 check boxes at the bottom to format the memory stick and make sure it can inject the ipl because its a useful part of the installation i'm not sure as to what caused the failure of the ipl injection but you may want to try formatting the mermory stick before trying to inject ipl.

yea you can format now if you dont plan on keeping it a magic memory stick, you can always use the easy installer later to make it again if needed
for higher cfw go here and download the firmware you want to use though the latest is 5.00 M33-3 also for more homebrew and news for psp check here.
