Hi, I have got a psp and was wanting to transfer games onto the psp. Can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to do this....

I have already formatted my memory card.

Ive tried transferring games onto memory stick into the games folder. Sometimes when i manage to see the game and try to play it, it says 'corrupted data'. At times, game just doesnt show... therefore, i have cleared everything from the memory stick and would like to start again...

I have version 3.60

if its a .iso or .cso it goes in /ISO/ only folders with eboot.pbp homebrew goes in PSP/GAME/[game_name]/eboot.pbp and if its in a .rar be sure to uncompress it with winrar first
btw you should upgrade your firmware

goto settings>system settings>system information it should be like 3.60 M33 and chances are you would know if you have modded your psp or bought it modded, you cant play backups with a regular psp you may need to search the guides for a way to downgrade or mod it use the pandora battery and magic memory stick

ok then its not modded i would suggest reading on how to make a pandora battery and magic memory stick or buy them at pandorasales.com

ok, thnx. So basically theres no other way round this.....i read somewhere about gong to the config screen and changing UMD mode to sony np9660.....is that an option?

these are all options and things you can do on a modded psp, your reading too far ahead first you have to mod your psp
