Hopefu;;y this is the correct place to put this. I have a PSP slim which has been modded with the CFW 4.01 m33-2, it works great except for one small problem:
When I convert and play a video on it it will only play about 50 minutes and then the video stops and a message comes up saying that it cannot play video of this type. I have tried PSP9, WINAVI and DVDFAB5 with the same reults each time. I have tried movies and TV shows (the TV shows give that message right at the end) with the same results at aroun 50 minutes or so. Any ideas on what I need to do to solve this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.
All games, music and UMD's play fine.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the tip Shaggy - I'll give that one a go.

I am experiencing the same issue as you pspweazl, but I never used to. I've started using pmplayer but I get a similar problem with that too. I suspect the video cannot play because one of the parameters exceeds the capabilities of the psp.

You've probably found this out for yourself, but to get around the issue in the short term, when you're watching the video and it stops, make a note of how many minutes and seconds the problems occurs at and then go to a point about 5 seconds after and the video should continue playing. It's annoying, but at least you can carry on watching the film.

When you're processing a video into mp4 .H264 try changing some of the parameters, such as frame rate etc to see if this eliminates the problem.

Let me know how you get on cos I wanna fix this too.

So I upgraded to PSPVC 3.2 and also downloaded and installed the CCCP (following all the set-up procedures at the PSPVC website) so far so good. Works great, and the picture is great. PSPVC seems to have alot of ability in tweaking your videos, something that is good for the more advanced I would say. The only downside to it I see is that it is VERY slow compared to others but well worth the wait! I give it two thumbs up, a definite 9/10. Give it a try and see what you think.
