its not called cod5 its called Call of Duty: World at War!!! infinity ward is not making this again not cod5!! and to answer you it comes out in the 11th of november for the U.S.

well...isn't it the fifth installment of call of duty? regardless if its "officially" called COD5 or not, its still COD5.

Your arguement makes no sense. If that was the case then why was COD3 called COD3? Infinity Ward didnt make it, so why huh? see your logic makes no sense.

It really is COD5. The reason as to why Treyarch does not want to call it COD 5 is because its like a weird disassociation to COD4 Modern Warfare. When World at War was announced, it was not well received as it got the "Oh. Another WWII shooter". I was one of them. The game basically is COD4 with a WWII skins and different perks. I mean everything from COD4 was ported to this game. Engine, ranking system, perks. I'm very on the fence with this game.

Not sure about the prestige mode? Prestige mode does not really mean or do anything. I get a kick out of people that think that cause you did the prestige thing 5 times your this awesome player.
Anyone else see the dog perk? I think it works like the chopper when you get 7 kills you get to call a few dogs to maul your enemies. They now call UAV "camouflage". The jets have been replaced with Air strike and with I guess a bigger area of damage.

ya 7 kills = dog pack
3 kills = UAV
5 kills = artillery strike
and there is prestige mode again.

Dammit, I HATE prestige mode with a passion. It was what ruined cod4 for me. With the ammount of time I played it prestige made it boring and repetitive, i wish they would just make one set of ranks that are pretty hard, like warhawk but not quite as hard.
I wish I knew that they were bringing that bs back before I pre ordered it. What a waste of a good game because of 1 stupid idea.

i only hav the beta so u can only get to lvl 44 or 45 but supposedly in the full release it will go to 65 i hear.

Suck too that PS3 owners will not be offered the special edition for COD: World at War. My boss is a pretty big WWII buff and he's bummed that he can't get his hands on the cool stuff that COD: World at War has.
