What is In the Bin/Cue Files??? Bin/Cue Files can Contain anything from Programs to Music to Pictures to VCD"s or SVCD"s or AVI files or anything that can Be burned to CD-R..It is simply Just an Image Format used for Createing Any Sort of CD"s...You should Extract the Files from the Bin file and see what is in it, You can use Something Like ISO-Buster to extract the Files from the Bin file....

there are svcd/dvd files in it.
i want to put subtitles in the movie and VirtualDub sees only AVI-files, that`s why.
at the moment i use vcdgear. and vcdgear can only make mpeg.
this is what i try to do now:
bin/cue---->mpeg
mpeg---->avi
I can`t find an program what converts mpeg to AVI and it is one step too much.
that`s why i wonder if there isn`t an program which converts bin/cue to AVI?
virtualdubmod gives me an error, maybe there is an other program which converts mpeg to AVI.

Well Use Virtual-Dub-Mpeg2 it will accept Mpeg2 files and VOB files...You can download it here :

I found the solution on this Afterdawn site: Type Bin in Search at the top of this page and it will show you the way to convert the Bin files to AVI with the use of Nero.

Yeah, a pretty fast method is like you did convert your cue/bin to mpeg (using vcdgear) and then open VirtualDub, then OPEN VIDEO FILE (your mpeg), select under video-compression how you want to compress your file (I suggest Divx;)mpeg4 fast motion). Then simply click on FILE, SAFE AS AVI and voilá...

VCDGear will not Convert DivX files to VCD/Mpeg, It will Only convert Bin files to VCD/Mpeg files if that Bin file is a VCD but your Bin file is not a VCD it is a DiVx file....You can use something like "ISO Buster" to extract the AVI/DivX file out of the Bin file and then you will be able to watch the Movie and if you want to make a VCD out of the DiVx file you will have to use a Mpeg encoder Like TMPGEnc to encode the DivX file to Mpeg1/VCD and then you can use something like Nero or VCDEAsy to burn the Mpeg1/VCD File to CD-R as a VCD....Cheers

Thanks Minion!! I will try with ISO buster, but nevertheless for your information the .bin file that I downloaded from divx movies site was designated as SVCD (in it's title)and vcdgear was not angree at all when I fed it with my .bin file and he convert it to .mpg easely. So, probably is something else wrong!!! I will post my findings if any!!

Cheers

Well if it was a SVCD then it wasn"t a DivX file it was a SVCD which is Mpeg2..I don"t know why they put DivX in the Title when it is a SVCD Image??
