i been in psp 3.90 m33-3 for a long time and i was wondering if you guys could help me out to choose rather i stay with my psp 3.90 m33-3 or should i upgrade ?
whats better about psp 5.00 m33-3 ?
well since 3.90 dark alex has made pspsavestates which allows you to save the state of umd and isos, popsloader has been upgraded to use firmwares 3.80, 390, and 4.01, there is now a google search directly in the network settings which is kinda pointless but does save a little time when using google search, there is a plugin available with slim psps called custom firmware extender that has remotejoy, usbhost, screenshot and music.prx plugins built into a menu much like LE recovery, cxmb has been upgraded and the themes are much nicer with better features available then previous versions just waiting for more to come out and a converter for 3.90 and 4.01 themes and i guess last would be the PS Store for download psp content like demos themes and games you buy from PSN.
the question is why do people keep obsolete firmwares just for a few old homebrew that eventually get updated or replaced by better homebrew and if you really want to keep old firmware why not setup Time Machine so you can run 1.50, 3.60, 3.90, 4.01 and 5.00 or whatever other firmwares you like or have homebrew that only worked for those; thats what i do anyway.
