Hello,

I'm sorry if a similar question has been asked 1000 times before on this forum, but I'm completely confused at this point.

I just received my Pandora Battery today in the mail, and used Rain's Simple MMS Maker to create a MMS, for 3.71 cfw. After formatting the memory card and installing all the necessary stuff through Rain's, I put in the Pandora battery, followed all the steps, and installed 3.71. Of course, it then told me to press "X" to shut down.

So I did, took out the Pandora Battery, and booted up the PSP. It acted like it was going to load fine, however, when it freezes after only loading the battery info, time and date.

I'm a total noob to this. I seriously just bought this PSP about 2 weeks ago (PSP slim, 3.95 ofw), and ordered the battery that day. I've dealt with homebrew and such before, so I didn't think it would be complicated.

Again, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but, what am I doing wrong? I have the 371.pbp file, load it into Rain's, boot up with the Pandora, install the CFW, and it freezes and shuts down automatically.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I was trying to be as specific as I could, so I wouldn't get flamed ;P

Thanks in advance!

Bump for serious help. Now, I have another problem. When I take out the original battery and put in the Pandora Battery, automatically, the Power light comes on, even though it's not loading. I'm confused. Totally.

Pleeeeeeeeeease help. I'm really worried that I just bricked this thing horribly.

Ok, I even went back into the Pandora Battery with the MMS, and installed the 3.71 OFW, and it STILL boots up for a few seconds, doesn't load any menus, and then shuts down after about 10 seconds.

Please, someone help. ANYONE. I am completely lost, and I can't find any help anywhere about this.

Nevermind, I got it fixed. I'm not exactly sure what the issue was, really.

The only thing I did differently this time, was instead of trying to install 3.71-m33 cfw, I installed 4.01-m33 cfw, and didn't leave the charger plugged into the PSP (why that would make a difference, I have no idea). I'm assuming that it just didn't like 3.71.

Regardless, it's fixed, and I'm happy.

Hey wuts up, Just a quick question: You were able to install 4.01 M33-2 on your Official 3.95 PSp using Rains MMS maker v1 successfully? cuz i have the blue madden psp one and it has 3.95 OFW so i was wondering wheteher i can upgrade to 4.01 m33-2 (DC7)directly from 3.95 OFW with out any problems.I'm pretty sure it should work cuz on the after dawn forums page:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/709168 it say "hacked using pandoras battery and DC7 (4.01M33). Also when you got the 4.01.pbp file and made the MMS did it install 4.01 M33 alone or with the update (4.01 M33-2. Please reply soon thx
