Hey just been readin about the new features releasing on 19th about being able to install games onto the dashboard to cut down on the DVD drive noise polution.
What do people think will the use of putting games onto the HDD make hacking easier?
Do you think Back-up copies will be able to copy onto the HDD?
Do you reken this will mean you could copy games straight from your PC HDD to the Xbox one just thought id see what people think?

*facepalm*
you have to have the disc still to boot the game up or else everybody would just rent games and burn them to their drives.
it will be good on your laser if it works with backups (which i don't see why it wouldn't but nobody knows yet).

It does work on backups. It has been confirmed. There's a dashboard leak on revolutiontt so you can try it yourself if you wanted. Only drawback is you won't be able to connect to live until the 19th of Nov.

Ye, this sucks for me only having a 20gb hard drive, what are the chances of them supporting installing to an external connected by usb or something. Don't know if it would work on not at usb transfer speed

i had the same questions. luckily i have one 20 gig and a 120 gig. i'll probably use the 120gig for my modded so i don't have to wear down the laser.

Aye, i refuse to pay 80 quid for a 120 gig hard drive, its crazy prices, hoping that they come up with some external system would be great, although knowing microsoft, FAT CHANCE!

I think a new rule for this forum should be that anytime the use of the "facepalm" quote is possible, it must be used. Haha, it's pretty funny.

No 'L' in wealth. Totally ruined it for me. It was like in Goonies when sean astin called josh brolin 'josh' instead of his character's name.

How would that work? Would the xbox need to be hacked in any way?

I've installed the update, i wanted it purely to be able to install games and save laser life. Running games via an optical drive is so 1980's.
I like the facepalm, expect to be seeing it in many of my posts.
p.s. i have no intention of using backups on my 360, just want to be able to run the (few) games i buy from the hard drive.

I am completely new at this so I am sorry for my stupid questions. Is there something I can buy to use as a hard drive if I buy an arcade 360?
