hitachi 59 flash worked but is unreliable

i modded my hitachi 59 with the pdf tutorial from 360 mods and it worked, no mistakes. every step worked perfect. the problem comes when trying to play the games, i have 2 games on memorex, and one on verbatim. the memorex games would work after opening and closing the tray like 3 times, which sucks.. the verbatim will not work. i burn at very slow speeds, im not an idiot. this same exact setup works great on my brothers 360 with no hiccups, his plays memorex and verbatims fine. after i play the games a few times it will stop reading the discs until i re mod it and start the SAME process over and over. the mod DID work every time, just gets more unreliable until it stops working. any help is appreciated, thanks for any suggestions.

i know you all get very sick of dealing with people asking how to burn games.. or how to play burned games... any suggestions for my problem, buy a new drive?
