Since you have The Homebrew Channel I will give you the option for that...

Make sure your SD card is formated FAT16 (default setting in Windows OS format). Then create a folder named apps and another named wad on the root of the SD Card.

Download this file HERE.

Extract the file and then transfer the wadmanager folder that was extracted over to the apps folder on the SD card.

Now place your wad files in the wad folder.

Now try installing a wad.

If you still have issues then...

1) Your SD Card might have a compatibility issue with the instillation of wad files. So try using a different SD Card.

2) The wad files you are using are not the same region as your Wii. Get wad files that correspond to your Wii region.

3) If the wad files have been patched for region free compatibility it is possible that it was patched wrong. Try getting a different wad file.

4) You could possibly have the new update installed and just don't realize it. There is a work around for this issue found at WiiNewz but the site is down and I can not get the link for you. You can find that link and follow the steps there if the above options I gave doesn't work.

Sorry about the elf file. I had uploaded it previous to the beta 9 update. HERE is the new updated .dol file. Just extract the file and transfer the wadmangaer folder to the apps folder.

yeah i get the same 2011 code. see its confusing because i almost finished the update but i had a bad feeling about it. so right before it said the update was done, i unplugged the wii, hoping that nothing would happen, now im seriously thinking that i updated and i was gonna downgrade but without the use of wads its kind of useless...so is there a work around for this update? if so, please tell me. thank you
