Wii Homebrew GCOS Question

Is their a way to boot GCOS (Gamecube Operating System) on the wii without a modchip?

Maybe some homebrew that can boot GCOS and allow us to play GC Backups?

Since we have the Backup launcher 0.3, has a way to boot GC backups been developed? in development?

Or is their a way too boot GC backups without a modchip using wads or something?

I have a NTSC-U Wii 3.3U Firmware. HBC installed, Wiigators Backup Launcher and all the stuff needed to make it work, also have the ios51 and the new wii shop channel installed and working, dvdx or w/e installed to watch dvd's.

With wads, defiantly not. Wads only work as channels, which only support data from the internal memory, which is nowhere near big enough for GC games.

My guess is that some future version of the backup launcher will support GC games, but I dont think theres a way to do it without modchips at the current time.
