So I just put the Talismoon Whisper Fan and the XCM CORE COOLER V2 in my Xbox 360. Now...

1Q. I love the Talismoon Fan that thing is awesome, get it! But the XCM Cooler is really loud! Not in a moving a lot of air loud but there is like this sort of high pitched sound coming out of my xbox. Is this Normal? If so Im going to take it out and what would be an alternative silent version for a fan on the cpu

2Q. I was reading somewhere that you could make the talismoon a 12v fan.
If so please tell me how!

3Q. I dont know anything about this X-Clamp Mod. Does it help prevent or fix RRODs?

EDIT: Another question: In order to change my RROL L.E.Ds I have to solder? There isn't anyway to just swap something out?

Find out where the humming is and fix it...it's not rocket science.

You can disconnect one xcm fan and see if that's the issue or not. Mine is pretty loud but it stays completely cool.

Is this the humming you're talking about?

If you are finding that this makes too much noise then try and turn your tv up a bit but if it is still making too much noise put it in a enclosed space (but not too closed up or it will heat up too much) the fans will keep it cool as in the manual it says not to put it in an enclosed space but it doesnt matter at all, hopes this helps

Ok if you are annoyed about the noise that your fans are making then put the xbox in an enclosed space (but not too enclosed or it will overheat). It says in the manual that it will overheat in enclosed spaces but with your fans it wont.
hopes this helps

If you think your system is loud now why would you want to up your talismoon fans to constant 12v? That would be on par with a jet engine. Either way it's possible if you still want to do it but it would involve soldering to a 12v connection on the motherboard or buying one of those dvd linker cables that pulls 12v from the dvd drive connection WHICH IS NOT RECOMMENDED as some people have posted having problems with their dvd drives.

If you want to swap rol led's without soldeing there are some guys on here that offer the service or look on ebay and buy it and then just swap out your rf board.
