Ok I have guitar hero world tour for the wii and made a backup of it and it works fine on my wii it has a wiikey updated to 1.9s and my wii is 3.3 the orginal works the backup works fine as well..

now i took my stuff over to my friends house and i usally take my backups instead of the orgianal incase it gets damaged ect and the problem is the same backup disk wont boot properly loads a bit then red screens out and he has a newer wii then i do with the same wiikey and 1.9s firmware and 3.3 update in his wii as well any ideas why it wont work on his wii but works fine on mine?

we both use the same settings only diffrence was my wii was from release day and his is about 1 year later

More then likely it is a media issue. Wii drives can be picky with the media it will read. So it is possible that his Wii has issues reading the backup but your Wii reads it perfectly fine.

It isn't weird because it happens all the time.

Just because your Wii can read the backup media fine doesn't mean all other Wii systems will. I would suggest he find media that works well with his Wii and burn the image to that.

it plays all the other games i backed up fine just not guitar hero world tour..
