I cannot format my Datasafe Media DVD-RW with InCd . I use Pioneer 105. I keep getting the message error 0051 0003 0031 001 and "disc error occured". I managed to do it once before with this same disc but it does not seem to work any more. As I am worse than a newbie, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Get DVDInfo Pro (free) and try erasing it from there. Also note the real maker of the disc and try another brand.

I dowloaded dvdinfo and it froze my computer. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. Same problem!! Any other suggestion pleeeeeeze!

can you read form the DVD-RW or it might be a faulty DVD-RW

Is there a specific reason you are using InCD and trying to format in the first place? InCD has no purpose for DVD video burning. Have you updated to the latest version? Do you have any other burning apps installed? Have you checked to make sure DMA is enabled for all drives?
