Iprep V6 does not toggle to 0xD1 when reading BenQ drive

Hi, i have an xbox 360 with a benq drive. when i boot ito iprep and enter my serial number and return the MTK vendor, the status does not toggle after turning the xbox on and off.

I have tries swapping the USB ports but have had no look.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

problem here is that you are not using channel one. it will be unresponsive until you do so.

There is normally 4 SATA ports on your motherboard. I actually had the same problem as you until I switched the the #4 port. Just try each of them until you find the one that works.

hi,what would i do if im using a PCI SATA card , the only sata prot is the external one, oh well i think so.

the card im using is the VIA 6421 PCI card

Use the one on the card that's on the inside of your pc towards the front.

hi, i used the inside port which you told me to use. however after getting 0xD1 status and then powering OFF, whe i turn the Xbox ON the status on,ly toggles between 0xD1 and, i think, 0x51.

Any ideas???

yes i have tried that and had no luck.

I have silicon image sata/raid controllers, should i consider flashing with those???
