Hi, I cant get the sound to work when i have my xbox 360 on the HD setting. Can someone please let me know what cables or leads i need as i am not very technical. I already have the 6 leads in the back off my tv, ie. red blue green and red yellow and white. Picture is fine just no sound, i have heard this is a problem on all samsung tv's?
problem on all Samsung tv's? I have a samsung hd tv, and I have sound working perfect. I am using an optical cable into my surround sound, and I'm getting it fine. But before did that, I was able to plug the red and white audio cables into my tv, and that also worked.
maybe you have them plugged into the wrong input. Try switching between your input channels with it on and see if the sound is coming form a different channel. If it is the audio are plugged into the wrong location, sometimes the diagrams on the back of those tv's are cryptic.
Look at the back of tv ,There should be some sort of chart,Like mine for instance is HDTV Component 2 The sound would run to Audio/Video 2.Dont pay no att to having the Yellow connected.Or like posted above Fiber optic is the Easy route if you have a Surround Sound.
