When i save a game the memory stick is saying its corrupt data most of the time

Its 50/50 it will save ok sometimes and then other times it will say corrupt data, i updated my firmware to 4.01 m33-2 and formated the memory stick to see if that would help but it didnt, i went and bought a new memory stick as the one i had was fake but it had been saving my games no problem for about 6 months untill now, i put my new memory stick in my psp and its magicgate supported but its still comming up corrutp data on some saved games. its games played in iso,cso, any ideas why this is happening?

Is the memory stick greater then 2gig? 4gig? I do know that higher capacity sticks do sometimes have problems.
