Hello.
I have a huge problem with copying games, I have read nearly every single tutorial going on this and I am near to tears.........
Ok.........I use FlashFTP to get the files from the XBOX to my PC. I then use the Craxtion Ver3 to create my new ISO file. I then use nero to burn said ISO file, I put the game in drive and for example Legacy of Kain gives me the error "unable to load xreverb.bin" file, Baulders gate worked and now will not goes thru the start up screen and gives me a black screen, sega GTonline worked but now gives me the error, "disk may be damaged or dirty" all this in the space of 24 hours from actually playing them.
My set up is version 1.0 xbox with alladin advance chip, Liteon DVD+R writer, nero 6, recordnowDX, craxtion ISO, burning at 2.4X, Mirror DVD+R media
Please I know there are other threads here, but they are all over the place, atleast I think i;ve told you all you need to know.
Please Help

i think it may be a problem with your media. you using dvd+r, but i think most xbox's read dvd-r's. not sure just giving my opinion, someone may wanna correct me on this.

hey,
thanks for the reply, I can watch copied movies on DVD+R on my chipped box and my un chipped box, so not sure thats the problem, what I dont get is I copied 3 games last night, spiderman, new baulders gate and segaGT, the only one that will work is spiderman and it loads really quickly! the others just get stuck, same media too. Also would changing my bios make any difference?

having the latest bios reduces problems majority of the time. which bios do you have? the latest xecuter bios are the 4981 bios. for the evox it's the M7 bios i think...

my bios is evox M7, can i use the executer bios>? been reading in other forums that this help another person?
not sure how to go about it, your help is great!

i use that bios also with the alladin advance i have no problems with any games you could try dvd-r media though because it reads one doesn't mean your xbox dvdrom likes them it may be fussy about them
though i haven't got these games i can't understand why your getting this though "unable to load xreverb.bin" xbox don't read bin files nor are xbox files created that way

i know, what i dont get is I copied dark alliance 2 last night, played it...........then tonight it just locks up? wont play, I copied the new kain game to the hard drive and this works fine, even ripped the hard drive copy to my pc to burn an iso and stuff yet it still says unable to load, does the M7 bios have both the no hack 1&2?
also is anyone familiar with flashing using hte EVOX auto installer? not sure which one I have to use? I have X2 - 4977 on the CD but how and will it work?

actually i'm not sure if the evoxm7 does have both hacks i'm sure i read on xbox-scene that only the x2 has that perhaps you should put the latest x2 bios in
you have to use evox to update but be careful and make sure your chip is in write protect mode off (something about holding on button for two seconds and the green light is supposed to flash) 4 sum reason mine doesnt flash so i'll have to ave a word with me chip man!

hello, thanks for that, Can you tell me how, I flash it?..............do I use the evoX installer? been in there and there is a section on it, but not sure how to proceed!

also do I need to flash it with 1MEG, 512 or 256? I have the alladin advance modchip..........please tell me hehe

yeah use the evox installer
you have to put the bios in your xbox c: called bios
to be honest i'm a bit weary of the flashing of this chip as i cannot get mine to boot unprotected ( greenl light supposed to flash) if your xbox doesn't do that on bootin up the evo disc i strongly recommend you don't flash cause i mate of mine did his and it deleted and reinstalled the flash like supposed to then turned itself off like supposed to but when he switched it back on it would only boot up in normal mode and only play originals

when i put the evox boot disk in all it says it 1,eg flash for version 1.0 - 1.1 X ? how do i do a 256K flash? Im not sure if it flashes green.........
