Ok My bios detects the xbox dvd drive, but Iprep doesnt everytime I go to backup/patch the drive get error flashing/patching or If i try dSam ******* ***** no command found! I have tried all my 6x sata ports and I have put Iprep on the usb stick fine, and it loads up fine in dos, just wont detect the dvd drive! please help me its really annoying me now. I have looked at so many topics but to no avail.

try buying a via vt6421 sata card .
maybe your motherboard isnt compatible.
with this card i have flashed dozens.

its an asus P5nt deluxe one, but if it was my mothoboard then surley it the xbox drive shouldnt get detected in the bios? or does it not work like that?

format the usb
now on iprep first check for updates
second run the program
does it gives you an ok?
i had to change a thing or two on the bios when i made it. before the change i got an error from iprep but there were files on my usb
