Im so late and I just heard about this idea. I'm going to start looking into this and try to do this but my question is, ssn't this illegal or against microsofts terms or something? I don't have a problem with any of that but I want to use and play "backed up" games on my 360 and I want to know if you can still play on xbox live and stuff normally just like you would if you actually bought the game.

HUGE FACEPALM. it can be illegal, and it is against MS policy, this why they can ban your console. however, many people on this site have their 360 modded, me being one, and love it. i personally have had a console banned, and bought another to replace it. just something you have to deal with. any other questions please feel free to ask.
