I'm trying to flash a Benq drive. I'm following the textbook 2008 guide. I get as far as turning on an off my 360. In which it starts to toggle between 0x51 and 0xD1. However, when I turn off my 360 then back on it does the same thing. Toggles between 0x51 and 0xD1 it never continues on. I tried my other sata ports but those won't even toggle between 0x51 and 0xD1. Any ideas?

Looks like I need to buy a Sata Card with a Via 6421 chipset. I can find one online but does anyone know if you can find one in store?

you might be able to find it in stores, only way is to go and ask the people that work there.

I think it was easiest just ordering one off of newegg. Atleast it was for me.

I was trying it out with my onboard sata which uses ICH9 drivers. I though just maybe I would get lucky. Oh well, I was suprised I even made it as far as toggling between 0x51 and 0xD1.

I ordered a Via 6421 card from Newegg. I'll just have to wait until it shows up.

I knew I could find one on Newegg. I was just hoping maybe someone knew of a brand found in store with the Via 6421 chipset.
