Hi was wondering if any one had ever had a problem replacing a dvd drive?
Im trying to replace my new hitachi 047 and manage to dump the firmware, but when it comes to flashing the new drive it tells me ......
"cant communicate with drive . make sure its visible in windows!".

Any one had this problem before?

well is it visible? if it isnt then obviously you cant flash it. you should read the guide again.
