Wii copy DVD can't be played although Wii recognizes it?

Hi all,

Could you help me with this problem?

After I copy a Wii DVD, I put it in the console. It recognizes the title, but when I click on the title, then there appears a Japanese statement . I don't understand what it says, although there is the Off word in the sentence.

That sentence is on the TV screen, and nothing happens until I have to reject the DVD and turn Wii off. Then I try to put the DVD on again, but the same problem happens.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

FYI, there are some copy DVDs that I could use with my Wii before.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would guess that it's the "unable to read disc, eject, turn OFf. . . . . " message in Japanese. Since I don't play out of region titles, I don't know what the message is when you put an out-of-region title in the Wii.

Sounds like you have a bad burn.
