So I hear the new dashboard or something is coming out in 2-3 weeks, is this simply just the dashboard or is the whole firmware updated? What will this mean for users that have iXtreme? will they need to disconnect their internet and wait for a new version of the iXtreme firmware to be released?

Please shed some light on this, my 360 has been out of action for about 2 months now so I havent really bothered keeping up to date. Im getting my box fixed next week so i need to get the facts, because the first thing i wanna do is go on live :D

Eh, to be honest, I'd go with the New Dashboard. Although, I'm not sure as to whether it would affect iXtreme or not. The 'NXE' just looks amazing to me. I love the "Mini-Dash" that pops up with the Guide Button, now.

Ask Microsoft. They are the only ones that have the answer to your question.

It hasn't even been officially released, how do we know what's up their sleeves?

You must wait and see just like everybody else.

Edit: It's just a dashboard upgrade. Nobody knows at this time what that means for modded drives though. Wait and see like I said above.
