You gotta read more. You can't just dive in the deep-in without knowing how to swim.
No, your not banned. However you probably will be. You have the Beta installed. You can't access Xbox live with the beta version. So stop trying ! Now you gotta wait until Nov 17, or install a old version.
Next time, read.

I dont believe that you can go back to the old version of the dashboard, you will have to wait until the 19th to get back on live.

You could have saved all that worrying if you had read around more.

Yep only the people who were given the dashboard by MS will be able to access live. Everyone else (which would mean those who downloaded off the net) will not be able to get onto live. Personally i would just wait until the actual release date, in fact i wont even be doing it then, probably wait a week or two to check that its not going to ban me before i try lol
hope this helps

if i get banned from the beta version, that would also mean people who are updating it on november 19th will also get banned too. there is no way around it.

maybe so... the smart thing to do is read all the details first and make the choice if u want to gamble with the chance of being banned.
there is a way around it...dont do it to begin with. i dont see the point of trying the new dashboard early. i mean curiosity killed the cat so dont be a pussy

Well, I went ahead and did it but it came to me that this could be very well another way for MS to get rid of a bunch of modded systems as in a new way of banning ppl... too late for regrets,I hardly play online anyways
By the way the new installing systems(Games to your hard drive) is great I am loving it and will definitely increase the console's performance considerable, also the the new menu look and the "in game" dashboard access is pretty good too...(reminds me of PS3 in one of the latest updates they did to their console)
Well lets wait and see, perhaps we are not banned after all...
Binary code...

It's the same M$ trick as the "unofficial" leak of halo3.. Why do you think that happened and the servers were all up and running before the game release?
Sorry kids.. you shouldn't ever try to use something which is live enabled before the official release date, unless your system serial number/identifier and account are registered as a beta tester.
The fact that this has been "leaked" early shows all the hallmarks of an inside M$ trap.. no doubt even after the 19th your beta dash will give away a modded system when it connects and tries to update.
