I hope I'm not being far too specific, but this place seems rather helpful after searching around a bit, and a chorus of angry users yelling "OMG NOOB" won't be greeting me (I hope).
I recently bought a TeamXecuter Blaster NE, installed it, had some problems, and ended up attempting to flash the standard BenQ drive with iExtreme 1.41 firmware without it.
After flashing (and, as far as I could tell, doing everything correctly), my drive would only say "Open Tray" or "Close Tray", and never actually read a disc in the drive (retail or otherwise). When I would install the Blaster360 on my console, it would let me read and play retail discs, but would recognize the burned (downloaded) game I had as a DVD and play the "Put this disc in a 360 console to play" message.
Now, my game ISO seems to check out fine in Mulleter, so I'm pretty sure it's a problem with my flash.
I used a USB flash drive with DOSFlash to extract/erase/flash, got my CFW from Xbins, and seemed to follow everything in the tutorials I read just fine, but it doesn't work.
Anyone willing/able to help with troubleshooting?
The first thing you need to do is check the back up it made when it read the firmware (OFW).Check it with toolbox thats what I use, and make sure your key is there. If it's there you are Ok as far as bricking. Then check the CFW and make sure the key is the same.If it reads that it is ixtrene 1.4 with the correct Key try to reflash it.
