D2CKEY mod chip help

I have a solderless d2ckey mod chip installed in my wii and the install was perfect and the chip is working and both red and blue lights work

but all the games i have ever burnt dont work

they work but always always always freeze at some point of the game mostly near the beginning but all the games boots up and come up on the wii channel

i dont know why this hapens can someone plzzzzzz help

i have tried burning my games on different types of media and also tried burning then at all kind of different speeds and tried burning them with different type of burning programs but it still dont work

plzzzzzzzzz help im going mad :@

Might help if you be more specific. Name the brands you have used, how fast you burned them, what program you used...

thanks for the quick reply

i have tried lots of different brands of dvds:

-Verbatim -r and +r and -rw and +rw
-sony -r
-tdk -r

I have also tried burning them at all diffent speeds:

-1x
-2x
-2.4x
-2x
-4x
-auto

i have also tried burning them with different programs:

-imgburn
-nero
-alcohol20

i dont know what the problem is, i think i need to try some more beter media to burn them onto as i heard the wii can be picky on what kind of cds they read and what they dont

i might need to try some of those printable ones as they r ones i hear work most but i thought that dont matter

anyone think they know wat the problem might be or wat kind of cds i should use

anyone here got d2ckey in their wii can they tell me wat kind of cds they use

It's DVDs, not CDs.

Were the Verbatim's max speed 8X? Those are genuinely better than the 16X. You just burn your .iso with ImgBurn at 4X speed and it should work. You can also try Taiyo Yuden 8X which are also high quality.

If all else fails then it is your install. Did you cover the D2CKey chip and the Clip with electrical tape. You need to hold the Wii Clip down so that it will hold.

all the DVDS i burnt were all x16 apart from the verbatim rw ones they were x4

i will be thinking about getting Taiyo Yuden 8X

and i did not cover the chip with electrical tape i only covered it with the mario card which is sent with the chip when u order it and i also put a sticker at the bottom of the chip which also came with the chip

will putting electical tape on top of the chip really help cause the light red light on the chip is always on but the blue one stops blinking and that is when the game freezes

there you go. They also have DVD-R Taiyo Yudens if you need to use DVD-R.

OK if you covered the chip with the slip that they gave then just hold down the clip with electrical tape.

What you want to do is to hold down the clip so that it does not shuffle around or even slip out when you move the Wii around.

Just go for the Taiyo Yudens I linked you to. They should work perfectly.
