I am attempting to flash a Hitachi 0046DG using a Via sata card. I've already done a samsung using xtremeboot with no problem, this hitachi on the other hand, is a kick in the ass.

I can put it into mode b no problem using slax 2.1, but after that I try to use C4EVA_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_4_Stealth and it doesnt flash. I get the error, windows incompatible, or cannot see drive etc... the drive does show up in my computer and even reads cd's and when I attempt to flash, it errors out, sometimes after 10 minutes of sitting there. I've been at it for 4 days now with no success, Ive tried safe mode, flashing with the tray opened and closed... nothing. Is that the only program available for me to use?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
